dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this project is to make complete management system for multi storey car parking building. The project has a strong hardware and software element. This automatically let a valid user enter the parking find suitable place for parking the car and manage user account; hence it reduces a lot of work for the manager. The manager can monitor the parking status on a LCD or on a computer screen and can view the detail of customer and their reservation. An online reservation is also a part of the system through which members of the parking a lot can reserve the space for specific time. The main focus of our project is to implement the GSM technology in this project. So GSM services are part of this project. GSM services are used, the user may inquire and reserve parking space through SMS. The control software at the parking lot maintain the status of free spaces, a lot suitable places and reserved the places for a specific time. Other features like deduct charges from the customer accounts, balance inquiry, recharging of a account, cancellation of reservation etc can also be added to increase the scope the project. | en_US |
