Abstract:
Purpose: The current study aims to explore the role of green innovation in relation to green
supply chain management practices and environmental performance.
Methodology & Design: The present study incorporates quantitative research method. The
data was collected from primary and secondary sources suing convenience sampling and
previous research.
Findings: Findings showed a significant positive relationship in green innovation,
environmental performance and green supply chain management.
Limitations: The essential constraint ofthe present study is that it uses information from only
one city. Moreover, the present study incorporated a single method in the current study.
Recommendations: It is recommended to support environment protection initiatives. Besides,
coordinated operations improvement, utilization of clean fuel, advanced truckload to gather
waste to improve environmental performance; and utilization of distribution centers (DCs) are
recommended to improve green supply chain management practices for FMCGs.
