Abstract

The main purpose of “Smart Job Portal” is to build an online application for jobless people as well as for the companies which looking for human resource. Smart Job Portal (SJP) will establish a link between the companies and the job seekers. The jobseekers will register themselves with SJP and then will submit their CVs to SJP. The member companies of SJP, having job vacancies will post their requirements on SJP site. The registered job-seekers will have access to this bulletin and if they find any job of their interest they will inform SJP. The interested job-seekers will undergo a test and interview, arranged by SJP. The successful candidates will be forwarded to the respective companies. Portal is the most commonly used application for different purposes. As smart Job Portal is web and database project and the tools which we are using are Dreamweaver, PHP, My SQL and Ajax which are mostly used now days. In nutshell, The SJP will facilitate and simplify the process of hiring of personnel in the corporate sector, and job hunt for the unemployed people.
