| dc.description.abstract | An Automated 'Weapon System capable of engaging any enemy threat up to 3000 meters area. • The system contains a fully computerize mechanical robot with USB based ca mera as its eye. So any soldier sitting at a safe place can control the robot in the battlefield. • The weapon system has a un1que !i.1nctionality to distinguish bet ween a friend and a roc, thus have almost no chances Cor any f'riendly fire incidents. Laser technology is used to implement the friend and foe system. • A special suite for soldiers has developed to support the ti·iend and !oe detection syste111. The laser helps to identify personals and generates feedback to the computer systern. • The mechanical robot is designed to sustain m a battlefield environment. The whole system is controlled through parallel port interface with feed back mechanism. • The robot system has its own firing system. A complete German MG-42 (Light Machine Gun) platform with its anti recoil system is implemented on the robot. • The system can be implemented on the front battlefield bunkers or on any military installation for security so that the soldier sitting at a distance place can control the system and engage any enemy threat. | en_US |
