U-Calligrapher

Abstract

U-Calligraphe~ is a Desktop Application written in Visual C++: Software that ge~erates Urdu text, embed it in web sites and other editors. The software will take any web page. Ask the user where to merge Urdu in it. Write Urdu in the user marked area. Generate the resulting file with merged Urdu content. Keyboard layouts will be defined which will map the keys to the specific urdu character. User can also create their custom layouts. This option is easy for those people who already work in avail.able Urdu editors. · This option is easy for the normal users who d~ not have any experience of using Urdu editors. No need to remember the keyboard layouts of each font or Unicode character coding scheme. Just select the Urdu Font name and writing method and the software will convert the Urdu-like English words to the genuine Urdu words of your specified font. Hence the U-Calligrapher is the stand-alone product. Its uniqueness is based upon the Roman text to Urdu.
