Abstract

Blood is a saver of all existing lives in case of medical emergency needs. In Pakistan finding relevant blood donors at a time of medical emergency is a challenge because manually one person may have to visit a blood bank or have to buy from some private hospital which will cause wastage of time and resources. Today mobile and mobile based applications have become a part of our day to day life. Saving lives application will build a network of people who can help each other during blood emergency time. In the urgent time of a blood requirement, Blood seekers can quickly check for blood donors and reach out to them through our App. The application will assist blood seekers in such a way that seekers can locate different volunteer blood donors in their locality through GPS and then request for blood. The Seeker shall be able to view information about Donors and can also view how far there is a distance between the Blood seeker and Blood donor. All the information of the registered Blood Seekers Blood Donors will be kept in the database.
