dc.description.abstract This report is Culmination of over 5 months of hard work. These five moths saw us (i.e. Rida & Myra) go from rank novices as far as window NT and windows 2000 administration was concern to our present state as joint database management experts. HRMS involves extensive use of the SQL and programming language Java. It is divided into two physically different parts, which might be conveniently referred to as the front end (client/interface) and the back end (database). And one logical element, which would be the server. These modules combine cohesively to provide services of database management. But the thing that our group is really proud of is the system's stability and reliability. This would make software even more versatile then it already is. Our report starts with the simple introduction of our project and the aims that we hope to accomplish. It also includes these strategies that we have adopted in order to accomplish the goals that we have set for our selves. All the above mention details are covered in the chapter 1, Introduction. Next we have included the basic theoretical knowledge that we deemed necessary in order to achieve a complete thesis that hopefully does not need to be backed up with any other document or text. This theoretical knowledge will help any layman understand the bare facts the forms the foundation of our project. This theory includes the basic definition of databases, the basic concept of database management, front end interaction in java, Along with this basic information we have included the details of the tools being used; sql server 2000 and java sdk 1.2. The chapter 2 is about tools and the review, Requirement Analysis. Next would be conducting a complete survey of all the resources that would be needed and then choosing the most reliable, consistent and economical of them all. An indepth study of the tools used and the relative merits of the tools we have chosen over the other available options are covered in chapter 3, Feasibility Study. This is followed by the definition of the scope of our and a description of the system we plan to implement along with the design document implemented in accordance with jsp. The chapter 3 is about System Design. en_US
