dc.description.abstract | Academic Services Automation (ASA) involves extensive use of progranuning languages such as Java Servlets and JDBC (Java Database Connectivity). It is d.ivided into two logically different sections, which might be conveniently referred to ~is the Database Application and the Web Application (Academic Services Interface) and the backend Microsoft Access. These sections combine cohesively to provide the services required by the students and the teachers of the university. . ASA is useful for students as well as the teachers. They can use the services provided by the university even if they are away from the university. These services·· in.clude timetables, results, message boards and date sheet for the students and the teachers. This ASA package is also a working model for any up and coming Web-Developer who would be interested in developing Web related software for any company who is still not working electronically. | en_US |
