Abstract

Parking Share is a parking rental and reservation app which provides available locations of parking spots in different places. Interactive maps show parking spots that are available near the entered place and their prices as well. It keeps you up to date with areas and will save you time by booking a parking spot in advance. This app is developed because of the congestion. Therefore, the project is aimed at solving such problems by designing an Android app that will provide an online way to rent out and reserve a parking space, reduce on spot booking hustle, reduce the time taken to find parking and make the free parking spaces useable and reduce wrong parking fines. The requirements for the developed system were collected using observation at different busiest locations in the city. The designed system is implemented using different technologies including Native mobile app developed for Android Mobiles and a Web application using PHP.
