dc.description.abstract This study attempts to explore the concept of e-recruitment in context to banking sector in Pakistan, for this purpose, the study aimed to understand the factors impacting the adoption of E recruitment. It was proposed that effort expectancy and performance expectancy positively correlate with behavioral intention of users to adopt and use e-recruitment sites. Individuals related to the banking sector (including those seeking to apply for jobs in banking sector as well former and current employees) were selected as the study sample. An online quantitative survey was conducted on a study sample of 169. All the survey responses were taken on Likert-point scale and responses were carefully recorded and analysed using SPSS. The study findings indicated that there exists a positive correlation among all the study variables as was proposed by the hypothesis. Moreover, findings also revealed that in line with the proposed hypothesis, effort expectancy and performance expectancy act as predictors of behavioral intention. The study findings tend to have numerous practical and managerial implications. For instance, the study results validate the UTAUT framework. It can also help employers and policy makers to use recruitment platforms more efficiently that will help them target maximum potential candidates. en_US
