dc.description.abstract The objective of this study is the determination the hydrocarbon potential in Dhurnal-05 well using wireline logs. Dhurnal-05 well is one of the seven wells drilled in Dhurnal field. Out of seven wells in Dhurnal field four wells were termed as production/development wells and three wells were injection wells. Log data used in this study includes the Gamma-ray log, Neutron-porosity log, Resistivity log, Caliper log, FD log and SP log. The borehole profile of the zone of interest was good. One prospect zone had been marked within Chorgali Formation and four zones are marked in Sakesar Formation. Petrophysical analysis reveal that in Dhurnal-05 well, Chorgali and Sakesar Formation are acting as an effective reservoir. en_US
