Management and Evaluation System

Abstract

The' Final Year Project Evaluation and Management System ' is an effort to automate the Project Evaluation and Management System of Bahria Institute of Management and Computer Sciences. The Proposed System will strive to help users of the system in Project Registration, Evaluation and Management and thus f-inally replacing the current manual system. There are two primary goals of the system. To replace the current tina! project evaluation system with an on-line tina! project evaluation and management system that will facilitate both computer and management sc1ences students and faculty members in project creation and evaluation. To provide a platform where users of the system can either submit a project idea or can implement an existing project idea submitted by the users of the system. The Proposed System is modeled using an extension to UMLand is implemented using ASP and HTML at the front-end and MS-Access Database at the back-end. The rest of this rep011 is organized as follows. Section I introduces the proposed system and deals with the fundamental problem of modeling web applications using UML and provides an extension to the UML so that it can be used to model web applil.:ations. Section I provides the framework for the modeling technique used to design the proposed system. Section 2 presents the life cycle followed for the development ofthe proposed system discussing each phase in detail. In the end, a set of recommendations and further enhancements to the system is presented to make the proposed system more etlicient.
