dc.description.abstract This study attempts to explore the concept of employees’ work engagement in relation with ethical leadership and organizational trust. The study aimed to understand the mediating role of organizational trust in the relationship between ethical leadership and employee engagement. For this purpose, employees from various organizations in the twin cities of Pakistan was chosen to participate in the study. A quantitative survey was conducted on a study sample of 205. All the survey responses were taken on Likert-point scale and responses were carefully recorded and analyzed using SPSS. The study findings indicated that there exists a positive correlation among all the study variables as was proposed by the hypothesis. Moreover, findings also revealed that in line with the proposed hypothesis, organizational trust mediates the positive relationship between ethical leadership and employee engagement. The study findings tend to have numerous practical and managerial implications. For instance, the study results can help organizations design policies that encourage ethical leadership style. Similarly, as the study highlights the significance of organizational trust, an organizational culture that fosters the values of trust can help increase productivity and performance en_US
