Abstract:
The life these days is very fast and you always need to keep up with the environment. The need of a good fast vehicle is increasing day by day and so is the rate of inflation. This means a good car is gradually getting more and more expensive. A part from all of this the physical fitness of an individual is also a must! Because what is the use of a good vehicle when you are not able to drive it due to the problem of high blood pressure. So you should be both physically and financially fit to keep up with the pace of the present world. Both of these requirements cannot be met at the same time and either one of them can not be ignored. Thus the need is there is to design and build a locomotive that full fills these requirements. This project basically concerns a similar concept of design and building of such human powered vehicle (HMV) called Skimmer. The designing has been done in AutoCAD 2000i and the simulation has been done in Visual Basic
