Housing Schemes Information Management System

Abstract

This thesis was prepared as a part final tenn project of the Bcs(honors) program and explains the need, analysis & working of infonnation management system developed for Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (O.P.F). This system is developed for the Housing section of the organization and can be integrated with their main system. The system study took a lot of time and much emphasis was placed on the analysis phase so as to a1low the system to be compatible with the modules that will be developed in the future to enhance the functionality of the system. The system consists of the following sub systems Schemes il?formation System This system contains the infonnation of on going housing schemes, major infonnation about the projects, prices of the plots of different schemes in certain categories. It also contains the infonnation of installments made by customers Development Record Information system This system contains information about several records involved in the development of a certain housing scheme. It contains infonnation about the total scheme cost, total budget, Scheme contractors, Issued bills, items codes and a brief description of the scheme. Account Management Information system This system is the most important and functionally critical module. It handles the application registration, perfonns balloting to make allotments to the applications. It also provides the functionality of making transfers of plots and canceling any allotted plot. Land Management Information System This system handles the records relating to Scheme land. It contains archives such as Mutations record, Khasara records, suppliers and most important the records of cases pending in the courts.
