Virtual University (Online Examination System)

Abstract

In the war of this electronic media the life is moving so fast. So one who got quick output will be sucessful in this world. The purpose of this report is to show the analysis, design and implementation of Online Examination, Examination is basically one of the major module of the university, similarly in Virtual university where all things are online, the examination is also online. The theme of the online exam,ination is the student sitting anywhere in the world he/she will attempt exam from his/her home country. In online examination system there is basically two major actor which involve in this system, these actors are , 1. Student 2. Teacher These actors interact with the online examination system. In system student login to the system and attempt his/her exam according to the subject, Then system evaluate the student and then proceed forward. One of the major advantage of the online examination is that each student is evaluted regularly, which is not in the proper examination. After the completion of the examination student will get his/her result right after his/her exam, which is also another major advantage of the online test which is Time saving. Secound major actor is Teacher which interact with the system, In the online examination the burden on the teacher is reduced through the system, The only thing the teachers have to do is add the questions. The teachers don't have to go through hundreds of papers to mark them. Instead this system does it all for them, with the online examination system there is no result compilation tensions, or no illegal work can be done. Once student's have given the exam, the exam will be marked by the system itself and the student finds out his/her result.
