Abstract:
This report aims to study the human resource policies of Pakistan's largest oil and gas exploration company, OGDCL. A special emphasis has been given to their performance appraisal methods, its general perception with employees and the policy's impact on employee behavior. This report is divided into 4 chapters. Chapter 1 highlights the particulars of the organization, this may establish context for the rest of the report. In Chapter 2 analysis on OGDCL‟s core HR policies and job performance is done. Chapter 3 focuses on analysis of OGDCL‟s performance appraisal methods. And finally in Chapter 4 the data of a survey given to OGDCL‟s employees is compiled and the effect of performance appraisal methods on job performance is analyzed
