dc.description.abstract | The study area Bitrism Block is located in Pakistan's Lower Indus Basin. In this location, the producing reservoirs are sandstone (shallow marine) from the Lower Goru formation. The goal of this research is to evaluate, interpret, and calculate the productive zones using seismic and well log data. To better understand the spatial geometry of the structures, time and depth contour maps of the horizons of interest were generated. The horizon on the formation tops designated Sui Main Limestone, Lower Ranikot Formation and Lower Goru Formation were noted on the seismic data interpretation. The seismic interpretation reveals no faulting in the study area. The interpretation was done by generating time and depth contour maps. The Lower Goru Formation act as a source that comprises shale, while the sand in the Lower Goru Formation is key reservoir. According to the interpretation, a thick layer of Upper Goru Formation works as a seal rock. Petrophysical analysis of the selected zones indicating reservoir quality. | en_US |
