dc.description.abstract In Today’s world technology is emerging very fast. The need for new systems is increasing rapidly as the world is getting busier, especially in the field of Electronic and Telecom. The project consists of two parts. • Over Voltage protection System • Emergency response system Over Voltage protection system is a smart system which controls the flow of current but also protects any circuit from over voltages. A unique feature of the system is that it not only cuts off the flow current to the circuit or any sensitive device but also restore the flow current as the voltage reaches its normal level. The system consists of several electronic components such as diodes, Zener diodes, resistors, transistors, different type of capacitors, operational amplifiers, and relays. The main advantage of the system is that it is very compact and can be fitted in any electronic device or circuit. Emergency Response System is a system that notifies its user anywhere in the country via cell phone. The system compromises of several electronic components and the heart of the system is microcontroller that controller whole system. The system basically works by detecting the responses from the attached sensors. The sensors are used for different purposes such as fire detection or smoke or temperature. As an option any type of sensor can be attached to this system as per need. The main reason behind the project is to design such a compact system that can attached to any sensitive electronic device or circuit that uses low current such as LCD’s, different LED displays, that cannot withstand high voltages. And also to built a monitoring system that notifies its users automatically. en_US
