Abstract:
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to look into how workers' views of a prejudiced
(discrimination)workplace affect their health and work. Furthermore, we want to explore how
an affective and cognitive moderator (organizational culture) affects the relationship between
the causes and effects ofworkplace discrimination.
Methodology & Design
The study is purely applied. The study's descriptive technique also aids in providing the actual
picture of workplace discrimination and how it impacts employee performance and mental
health. This study includes executives and employees from a number of companies (private
and public). As a result, the population is thought to be around 400 people.
Findings
Discrimination against persons in the workplace based on race or ethnicity has a huge
detrimental impact on both individuals and businesses. Multiple difficulties and empirical
literature from prior studies were highlighted in the literature used in this investigation. As a
result, in addition to other issues, occupational discrimination causes emotional discomfort and
stress.
Limitations
As we know, there is always room for improvement. In this study, the limitation was that the
data was collected from private and government sectors, and it was not easy to get government
employees' feedback. The other constraint was time, as it was limited, so some ofthe research
areas were left unexamined Recommendations
To broaden the implication of research findings, future researchers should collect data from
the respondents of different online review platforms and a larger group of people so the
empirical findings will have larger and more comprehensive implications.
