Abstract:
Purpose: The impact on supply chain methods and how they affect supply chain
performance in the cement sector. The aim to identify problem, define and describe
supplier development strategies to improve supplier performance with effectiveness
including supplier partnership, customer relationship, level of information sharing,
postponement, quality of information sharing.
Methodology & Design: The quantitative research methods employed here are reliability
statistics, correlations, and regression analysis to examine data acquired from the primary
method. In the sense that hypothesis testing will most likely be used to investigate the
cause-and-effect relationship. In terms of data collecting and processing, this study
technique is useful because a hypothesis is being investigated, the research approach is
deductive whereas questionnaire is used to collect data, the sample size ofthis research is
371 responses, the data is being analyzed using PLS software and test includes regression
and cronbach alpha (tests).
Findings: The study of research is to identify the dependent variable selected here is
supply chain performance, while the independent variables are supplier partnership,
customer relationship, postponement, information, and quality of information.
Limitations: The limitation ofthis paper is made up of both men and women who work in
purchasing departments, businessmen, and those who buy cement locally and worldwide.
Young and old shoppers, range of age from 20 to 60 are represented. This study will be
conducted in Pakistan major city such as Karachi, using both a Google survey and a
physical questionnaire.
Recommendation: It is essential for the company to pass on quality information to their
stakeholders in a timely manner, as the efficient and effective the information sharing
concept, the valuable would be the productivity of a company. Therefore, the point of
information sharing should be considered thoroughly by the selective organizations.
