Abstract:
Nowadays, every kind of industry requires fast, robust, reliable, and secure information
systems for their daily working. With the growing the number of users and the types of
network attacks, many industries are facing the issue of securing their networks and are
in need of a mechanism by which they can protect them to secure their valuable data
and information.
The survey was conducted to analyse the flaws and possible threats to the systems of
Cyber Reconnaissance and Combat (CRC) Lab and it shows that there is no such
mechanism placed by which they can prevent possible potential threats in order to
secure the networks. It was also observed that the existing solutions to this problem
were not fulfilling the proper need of CRC Lab as they required a more appropriate
solution to protect their data of huge importance. So, we provided them with a solution
in the form of Packet Analyzer tool which is a web-based dedicated application that
provides people with analysis of their network in order to secure them from various
attacks. By doing this, they can protect their devices, important data and prevent any
threat regarding the network.
