dc.description.abstract | As per the EV policy of Pakistan, Electrical vehicle has been proposed to penetrate in phase manner like 30 percent by 2030 and 90 percent by 2040 replacing the existing fossil fuel vehicle. However, one of the big challenges is to construct the charging infrastructure. In this project the viability of EV charging infrastructure has been found out. For fund collection, three party coalition namely IESCO, CDA and existing pump owner has been proposed. The optimum cost among the three players has been calculated by using Shapely value method of game theory. To find the cost of charging infrastructure both primary and secondary data has been used. For primary data, researcher in this study has visited and collected the real time data form the two installed charging piles at Centaurus and F 8. Result showed that EV penetration project has been found viable. If the project was funded by IESCO alone they have to pay 1.82 billion. If it was to be constructed by CDA only the cost would be 2.36 billion. Where as if it was to be constructed by existing pump owner then the cost would be 2.29 billion. Now with trilateral coalition the total cost has been drastically reduced to 1.4 billion with individual contribution of 23 million by IESCO,734 million by CDA and 662 million by Existing pump owner. Further, the EV has been found four times fuel economy over fossil fuel vehicle. | en_US |
