Printing may be found all around us. It is there in our lives twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Contemplate our civilisation prior to the invention of printing. Consider the first several hours of your typical day. When the alarm goes off, you check the time on the clock. The face of the clock is printed. To use the restroom, you stretch and slip out from between the printed sheets. You use the restroom while surrounded by printed materials. All around you, there are printed items, a toothpaste tube, a worktop, various bottles, containers, paper objects, a shower curtain, soap wrappers, towels, and maybe wallpaper. Your toothbrush and comb have been imprinted as well. The pajamas you take off and the clothes you put on might be printed. When you go to the kitchen for breakfast, you're once again surrounded by printing. Cereal boxes, egg cartons, orange juice cans, milk cartons, sweetener packets, and printed dishes Printed sheets are used to pack or wrap almost every food item in the kitchen. Fresh oranges, for example, may have printed textures. When the wood grain on the kitchen cabinets and the pattern on the carpet were perhaps printed. 'Visual communication,' a word established just lately, encompasses the graphic and typographic arts. Since World War II, the volume and level of printing have expanded to an extent that no one could have predicted. The idea of offset printing as a primitive technique used exclusively for small runs is making way to an awareness of its unique qualities, effects, and 5 | P a g e advantages. Almost every day, new and unexpected uses in modern printing and graphic technologies are discovered and applied.
