dc.description.abstract Geographically and geologically the study area lies in Jamshoro District in the Lower Indus Basin. The basic aim of this research conducted is the structural interpretation and rock evaluation of the well Kothar-02 by using 2D seismic information. By using 2D seismic interpretation we come to know that the area is faulted and folded with a component of strike slip as well. Positive flower structure was observed on the seismic section with the two major faults F1 and F2 dipping eastward and westward respectively. The results are proved by making time and depth contour map. en_US
