Abstract:
The Rajian area's subsurface structure is interpreted throughout this study
utilizing seismic sections, & hydrocarbon-bearing zones were located through
Petrophysical analyses. Southeast (SE) of both the Salt Range Potwar Foreland
Basin, mostly in Upper Indus Basin, is located in the Rajian region is located.
These formations tops generated by the well are analyzed to identify the indicated
areas. Our studied area has experienced substantial deformation, as shown by
thrusts & back thrusts, according to seismic interpretation of both the provided 2D
seismic data. Such structures have a final trend which is northwest-southeast
(NW-SE), and shows that perhaps the region is within the compressional regime.
Chorgali & Khewra sandstone are two of something like the zones that the
hydrocarbon potential investigation has been used to understand.
