dc.description.abstract Mostly we have seen that ships are not friction-less vehicles. Ships cannot travel on land as they are attached to surface. The main problem is that if the surface is not smooth it is very difcult to control the ships.A hovercraft, also known as an Air Cushion Automobile, is a vehicle that can move over land, water, dust, dirt, and other surfaces. Hovercraft has blowers that provide a large amount of air under the cushion skirt, this is slightly above atmospheric pressure. They’re now used in the course of the arena as specialized transports in catastrophe relief, coastguard, it is used in navy and survey operations, as well as for sports or passenger carrying purposes. The main purpose of the project is to build and design a vehicle that is able to traverse on both land and water which is also called an hovercraft. The layout method is pretty similar to that of boat and plane. The hovercraft base is designed in cushion shirt confguration to reduce friction on water and smoothly travel on land. In order to reduce friction the cushion will be flled with air. The main purpose is to successfully implement lift motor and thrust motor while considering the mechanical body and payload weight. The final product is in prototype form which successfully operates with the abilities of a full hovercraft. en_US
