LASER Based Conversation Detection

Abstract

In the era of new technology spying methods have also advanced. In addition to these methods a laser based spying device was the goal for the project. A laser based conversation detection uses a laser beam to detect the vibrations in an object. Such device would be able to record the conversation without infltrating the premises. Such a device will help the security agencies to spy on anyone.Laser will be used to detect the vibrations in a distant object. These vibrations will be consist of the conversation taking place nearby the object. This method involves low risk of getting caught as the user will be far away from the subject. In this way our security agencies will carry dangerous tasks with low risks. The main focus was to build a portable spying device which can be used from a distance to spy. The device can be operated by a single person. The device is consist of a laser transmitter and a receiver. Laser will be projected on a reflecting surface and reflected beam will be project on the receiver. The receiver will than use the reflected beam and convert it into an audio signal.Listening to someone’s conversation without their consent seems unethical and such eavesdropping devices are illegal in most of the countries. It is considered as a crime to use such listening device because it allows you to break into someone’s privacy and handling such device may lead to face problems. I proposed this device to be only used by intelligence agencies and armed forces for peace and national security rather than easily accessible by a common persons that might harm to someone’s privacy. So, it is legal to be used only by the intelligence agencies for the sake of national security and for spying on doubtful people. This device meets the need of technology and will help in prevailing peace and reducing terrorism.
