dc.description.abstract National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) is responsible to provide basic telecommunication services to its designated customers, which include Federal and Provincial Governments, their depattments, autonomous organizations and defense services throughout the country. NTC's mandate also includes selling its capacity on telecommunication systems to the designated customers and also the PTCL. NTC is currently has SDH 622 Mbps system which is fulfilling its own bandwidth requirement and other organizations as well. But this system got saturated only after one year of its implementation. Currently NTC is facing lot of problems in fulfilling its own and asked bandwidth demand, so it needs an immediate solution which will be able to cope existing and future bandwidth demand. There are two fold solutions for this dilemma faced by NTC; NTC should implement Dense Wavelength Division Multiplex system along with installing high data rate SDH systems. This will ensure provision of existing and far future bandwidth demand for NTC. We will study existing infrastructure and will provide a comprehensive plan report for implementation of DWDM system along with higher data rate's SDH system. en_US
