dc.description.abstract map information with power full searching capabilities. MapExplorer is built using vector technology that makes it possible to present map information in different views to the users. Sometimes you may only be interested in finding out the buildings on the map but unnecessary road information or other irrelevant information always distracts you. In this context, what MapExplorer does is that it decomposes the map into several layers and allows the users to turn off any unnecessary information to be seen from the map. This way he gets more accurate and relevant information in easiest and desirable way possible. Each layer is represented with a different and prominent color that distinguishes one layer from the other. MapExplorer provides powerful searching capabilities that eliminate the frustrations of unfamiliar people, business travelers, tourists etc., to locate places, hotels, institutions etc., and to reach these areas in a shortest way possible. MapExplorer doesn’t require you to be online to use these services you can get addresses and directions, travel times and driving directions without having to be connected to the Internet. en_US
