dc.description.abstract | Textile and ready-made garment industries are ever green industries but with the passage of time the techniques of manufacturing and stitching have been evolving. Different brands have their own manufacturing units with skilled labors to make cloth and ready-made garments. As the living standard of people have grown up more advanced and complicated textile manufacturing is carried out and by utilizing the skilled labor one can pace up with the market but the revenue is effected as complicated designs need more time, more labor and wastage of cloth may also be increased. With forth industrial revolution and in the era of machine learning and artifcial intelligence machines are learning to perform a task on their own which is a reliable solution to nullify the problem mentioned above. Although the constraints of machines replacing humans are also a considerable issue in developing countries where labor is not an issue. The design and capital cost in manufacturing automated cutting and sewing bots is also comparatively higher as the technology is new and evolving. Machine learning and AI brought a very helpful way to work faster and fulfll the demand. This report discusses one of the methods to manufacture a ready-made product with computerized numerical control(CNC) machine the hardware and software requirements necessary to perform this task and the functional and non-functional constraints. In this method, the whole task of cutting and sewing a tie is performed by the CNC machine which is basically and electromechanical system having controller to accept code and motors attached with mechanical framework to perform the task as per code. The machine discussed in this report is a prototype and for industrial use some changes may have to be made. | en_US |
