dc.description.abstract | This report presents a design of snake robot that possesses the ability to trace and navigate in its surroundings and fnd the possibility of human life using help of camera. This report helps manufacturing a snake-like robot whose motion is controlled by active wheels. The robot can be utilised for a variety of tasks, including search and rescue operations in collapsed structures and inspection of spaces that are too small for people or traditional machines to enter. The snake robot was designed in such a way that its size could be varied to function like a real biological snake, as well as it can move in a sine wave shape. The snake robot is made up of a chain of links that are connected by active wheels and active joints. A Serpentine motion algorithm is applied to the robot so that snake-like motion as well as rectilinear (straight) motions can be generated in it. The snake robot can also provide wireless video surveillance. This skill allows the snake robot to travel about in complex terrain | en_US |
