Executive Information System

Abstract

The project comprises to design & develop an Executive Information System. The· idea behind is to make this product a generic one, which provides an organization with an automated system without even changing its traditional workflow, and hence improve its productivity. This online system contains all the information of its Users and its Applications like Planners, timesheets, Leave Request, Expense Reports, Documents, Knowledge base, Discussion, User Profile, Mailing Lists. The System provides various functions and options to its Users. So that they can be able to manage the information of Organization's schedule, workflow, reports, staff and other EIS related information according to their access rights. They can also manage their own accounts as well. The Admin of the System is able to assign staff according to situation to Organization. OnJy Admin has the Full authority and full access to the system. Users or Employees of the organization has the limited access to the system according to the priorities given by the Administrator. Other than the Organization's employees no one has the permission to get into the system. Employees can update their information after login to the system. All members of the EIS have contact to each other through mailing system. This project is a real life project and can be implemented very easily and successfully fulfilling almost all needs.
