Abstract

The aim of this project is to build a web portal for Future Connection with an ISP. This portal is offering content that is meant for a variety of users, be it: Customer, Merchandiser, Window Watch or Administrator. This portal accommodates growing need for a source from where customers can make purchase through internet in a real customer oriented way. It provides a platform from where people can find anything they want to buy or sell online. It creates Electronic Market.Place to meet the challenges of growing business needs and market trends. It makes the presence of small business holder over the electronic business platform. Customer will perform following activities:. • Create login, buy goods and maintain a Shopping cart. Merchandiser will perform following activities: • Register in order to receive the online orders for their products and have rights for updating the prices and descriptions of their Uploaded products The function of an administrative section is to provide an easy to use interface to perform various administrative tasks that does not require any technical knowledge about how the web portal is working and about the underlying technology and infrastructure being used. The portal architecture would bring such services together all under one interface.
