dc.description.abstract An Automated Weapon System capable of engaging any enemy threat up to 3000 meters area. • The system contains a fi.JIIy computerize mechanical robot with USB based can1era as its eye. So any soldier si tting at a safe place can control the robot in the battlefield. • The weapon system has a un1que functionality to distinguish between a ft·iend and a foe, thus have almost no chances for any friendly tire incidents. Laser technology is used to implement the friend and foe system. • A special sui te for soldiers has developed to support the friend and roc detection system. The laser helps to idcn tiry perso nals and generates feedback to the computer system. • The mechanical robot is designed to sustain 111 a battlefield environment. The whole system is controlled through parallel po•·t interface with feed back mechanism. • The robot system has its own tiring system. A complete German MG-42 (Light Machine Gun) platform with its anti recoil system is implemented on the robot. • The system can be implemented on the front battlefield bunkers or on any mi litary installation for security so that the soldier sitting at a distance place can control the system and engage any enemy threat. en_US
