| dc.description.abstract | Purpose: The main objective ofthis research is to find out the role oftelemedicine during COVID-19. For this purpose, different variables has been studies to analyze the impact of telemedicine. These variables include optimizing work load, relieving mental stress, risk of infection and assisting healthcare facility. These variables were extracted after extensive review of past studies to analyze the effect oftelemedicine. Methodology: The research design is explanatory and the type of research is quantitative. Primary research has conducted and the data has collected with the help questionnaire survey. The survey was made on Likert-Scale and send electronically to research participants. The sample size ofthe study was restricted to 218 and the research respondents were mostly from healthcare sector ofKarachi. Different statistical analysis i.e. reliability analysis, correlation analysis and simple regression analysis were used to analyze the data statistically. Findings: The findings of the result indicate that all of the dependent variables are significantly and positively related to independent variable ofthe study i.e. telemedicine. The results ofthe study are aligned with the results ofprevious researches as well. Practical Implication: As per the findings of the result, it is clear that telemedicine has eased many difficult circumstances during COVID-19. It is why, it is recommended that use oftelemedicine in the healthcare sector of Karachi must be encourages so that healthcare staff may prevent from psychological and physical challenges associated with COVID-19. | en_US |
