Abstract:
Purpose: The main objective of the study is to find out the impact of supply chain
management practices on the organizational performance ofmanufacturing sector of Karachi.
The independent variables of the study are commitment with customer relationship
management, supplier relationship management, level of information sharing and evaluating
its impact on performance ofmanufacturing sector of Karachi.
Methodology: Primary research has been conducted and data has been collected with the
help of questionnaire. The sample size of the study was 383 research participants. The target
population of the study was the employees, suppliers and vendors of manufacturing
companies. Statistical analysis has been conducted by using SPSS software i.e. regression
analysis, correlation analysis and reliability analysis.
Findings: The results of the study indicates the all of the variables i.e. supplier relationship,
customer relationship and level of information sharing are found to be significant and have
positive relationship with the performance ofmanufacturing sector ofKarachi.
Practical Implication: The current study and its results are beneficial for manufacturing
organizations in Karachi. Organizations must improve their supplier relations, customer
relations and information sharing across the departments to improve their performance.
