Information and Automation System

Abstract

With the introduction of home PCs and different kinds of soft wares, it is now common that most companies like to shift their system from paper based to computerization, i.e. to computerize their records. "Information and Automation" is, also, a project of that common type. Fatrneen Enterprises deals in different areas like, fans, tiles and export of vegetables. However, this project is limited to fans and tiles sections, only. The objective was to computerize whole records of these two sections with adding, searching of fans and tiles, and printing different reports. This objective has been achieved. It has been developed in Windows 2000, which is a standard for most of organizations. While, Visual Basic 6 language has been chosen along with SQL Server 2000, Crystal Report 8.5, and TDBG 6. This project also generates and prints reports of different types, with searching facilities and new addition facilities. The GUI is user friendly.
