| dc.description.abstract | The smart card based automated attendance system can be used 1n offices and 111 industrial area to monitor the real-time attendance of a person. The system ii1cludes Smart cards, Smart card reader and PC to operate. All the communication between the hardware device and PC is done through serial port With configurable baud rate. The soft\\'are is de\·eloped in Visual C++ with MS access in backend . The Database connection is established via ODBC. The hardware device can be connected to any serial port configure able from GUI . GUI also shows the person picture at Run lime.Standard smart card (memory 24c04) is used in this project. It contains 256 bytes storage Capacity. The smart card is reusable which is implemented in GUI. The smart card reader is standard reader with serial interface. The main GUI of the project contains di ffercnt dialogs to enter data. configure hardware Data management and smart card buming module. | en_US |
