Abstract:
This thesis is all about the functioning and working of ISP (Internet Service provider) covering all the major areas, like human resources, hardware resources, software resources and the whole functioning of these areas and full description to the working of ISP. This thesis also covered all the aspect of security involving all the major areas of the ISP and call user's initiation via local exchange to ISP and ISP to web server via main exchange. This thesis also covered the security of medi_ums like copper wires, wireless and fiber optics. This thesis also covered the security of software and the hardware like router security, network security, proxy server and firewalls. In last this thesis suggests the proper security solution, which is implementation of data encryption algorithm (GOST).
