Abstract

Microsoft visual c # is the best tool for developing database applications. Visual C# .NET is purely object oriented programming language. Although there are number of languages that support database applications but are not as flexible as C# .NET. It provides the visual interface. It also provides a number of built in controls for database applications. Since in database applications security is the main and fundamental thing so to provide the secure application Microsoft SQL server 2000 is used as backend database. The main reason to use SQL server2000 was to make the data secure and also it provides great compatibility with other Microsoft tools as C# .NET and also provides faster data manipulation and insertion as compared to other technologies such as oracle. To provide the better reporting facility to the user crystal reporting is used as reporting tool in this project. Crystal reports provide well looking. well formatted and attractive reporting facility. So combination of above mentioned tools make this project user friendly and according to the needs of the organization. The objective of this project is to computerize the existing manual system of Nature Care Herbal Company. At the first step sale purchase system is computerized. By this approach the record keeping of the organization become safe and secure, it enables the user to generate timely reports, make the system faster and reduce the work load from user of this proposed system. Some future recommendations are made for the extension of the project.
