dc.description.abstract Aero Asia Online Flight reservation system is build to facilitate online flight booking in the best way. Where as a user, individual criteria is satisfied. It is a small but growing airline providing domestic/International flights across Asia .In order to improve its service to passengers and to ensure that the flight scheduling process runs smoothly, it is desired t obtain web based computer application that will serve as a flight reservation system. Basic features of the application will include the ability for a passenger to perform the following: Log in as a member, select flight form schedule, pay online, get computer number, and finally book a seat on desired flight. For an Administrator it's just the task made easy ... He can check the flight booked status with regard to seating map showing the map of seats booked or not. And he can also check for passenger details. This application provides passenger information such as phone number, address, etc. The sites were designed and tested with Microsoft Internet Explorer S.x browsers. The data activity from MS-Access 2000 and editing page processing occurs on the llS server using Active Server Pages (ASP) and is written entirely in VB Script. All client side form validation and triggered events in the browser are coded in JavaScript. Functions called by multiple pages in the application are abstracted into external include files for reusability The final application will ideally be one which is easy to learn, maintain, and use as well as one that provides our staff with a transparent tool which aids in their task to provide quality service to our passengers. en_US
