Abstract:
All over the world, security 1s an impmiant feature. A sensible cost is spent for implementing security in different organizations. When an organization grows, it entails security with different points of view. Security is considered necessary in every field of life. There are many types of security and many ways to implement it. The purpose of the project is to develop a Security Surveillance System by usmg common and less costly devices. Security Surveillance System implements security by capturing video of any moving object that will tty to cross out of bound area. The captured video is stored in hard drive efficiently so that we can check it later. The Security Surveillance System can be used in two different modes. One for live video capturing without any storage in hard drive and secondly, purely for security purpose, when cameras are enabled by sensation of some movement in perceptive area. Web cameras (commonly use for chat) are used for this purpose. The system also provides capability to send the messages over the LAN to client machines if it will detect some motion. Security Surveillance System is a generic application and can be used anywhere such as in offices, libraries, examination halls, computer labs, shops, canteens and in any sensitive area which is out of bound for all, or for live monitoring.
