Websites Development for United Nations System In Pakistan

Abstract

This report contains details at developing a project for United Nations system in Pakistan. The project is part of the requirements of the Master's Degree in Computer Sciences of the Bahria University, Islamabad. The aim of the project was to create a common ground for the people who benefit from the services of the United Nations, Especially for the employees of the United Nations. The websites provide the user with an environment where they can interact directly with the UN IT department and get fast solution to their problems. It provides discussion forum where user can discuss on any topic they like. The other main module of the project was the site stats which help us keeping informed about the popularity of the website, also keep track of the user and their activities. The mam effort in the project development was made on the design of the websites, which was the major requirement of the clients. The development of multithreaded Discussion board was a difficult job.
