Multilingual Application Suite

Abstract

This project pertains to the Word Processing domain of softwares. The aim of this project is to provide developers an extremely powerful and platform Independent text editing software that handles Urdu, Engltsh, Sindhi, Punjabi, Pashtu, Balochl, Kashmlrllanguages with level of ease and harmony never achieved before. Built on a robust proprietary state of the art multilingual Unlscribe engine, It will provide flexibility for utilization of all these languages, whether they are used separately, side-by-side or fully integrated in your document. All the text rendering of the above mentioned Arabic-Script languages will be based on Unicode, which will make this project's implementation dually useful since the implementation code written would be useable by future products and the Unicode based font developed for this purpose would be useful for any Arable script language browser based or desktop based application. Its Implementation wm provide a base for multilingual software development In the domain of Desktop Publishing, Web Applications and Mobile Applications combining the existing robustness of Java and multilingualism of Unicode. It will also help to strengthen currently under development Standardization of Urdu In the IT Industry. iii
