Abstract

This report explores to the reader about the Gambhir Inventory System. This report is intended to be of value for many different type of readers including the System Analyst, Computer Programmers, and Students, who are new to the Database projects. It is also as beneficial to the people who are interested in the development of any sort of Inventory System. It contains information about the Gambhir Inventory System and its different Modules like, Customers, Approvals, Quotes, Administration, etc. providing the details about how things are worked out in Gambhir's Company. This system has been proposed to make the functioning of Gambhir System more efficient which is further supported by different Chapters to give a clear and detailed idea about what is proposed and what is needed to be done and how. This Sottwarc attempts to cover the Whole Inventory System of Gambhir, but it does not cover the entire thing. There are a few limitations, which had to be there because of the small span of time. f-or example, The Approvals, The Quotes and the Orders part of the system is a whole world in itself and requires more time to complete it efficiently. But over all the software serves the Main purpose of Gambhir's System and that is the Management of Stones and Customers. It starts with the process when a stone or lot of stone comes to the Company, what 10 is allotted to it, resides in which category, what is it's status checked out or not, which customer buys which type of stones, how many orders are related to this item, how much price does it give and things related to this. The following pages give enough information to a user who is about to use the software, so that one can make an illbient use of the system.
