Abstract

Personal Data Bank (PDB) is an application, which can be useful for any user who can operate and work on computers. It is an application for people who need to preserve l}leir daily schedule and other contacts so that they can perform their duties according to ·some predefined procedures and methods. PDB provides the user with a compact environment within which all the features like address book, notepad and calculator have been integrated. Users have easy access to features like date and time, address book, calculator, scheduler and notepad. Users can use the date and time feature to place alarms and make automated telephone calls on specified date and time. Users can maintain records of contacts and addresses by the address book feature. By using the calculator feature users can calculate different numeric values. Users can schedule appointments, meetings and memorandums by the scheduler feature. The notepad provides the facility of maintaining and editing different text files. These features provide the user with consistent flow of work, which results in better output, as all these features have been integrated in a form of one single application called Personal Data Bank.
