Border Security System BSS

Abstract

Border Security System has been developed to meet the need of the FIA Immigration Staff who work around the clock at the immigration Check-posts. The existing immigration System of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is Manual. The immigration of about 5 Millions International passengers are done every year by the limited staff of Immigration wing of FlA. The existing system does not provide them a suitable environment to working properly and efficiently and also facilities to like searching a particular individual subject of stop lists provide by the other sister agencies i. e. Ministry of Interior, Immigration & Passport, NADRA, Police and Interpol. The immigration of international passengers is very sensitive matter and success of this department depends upon the efficient working and security of their immigration record. The developed Border Security System (BSS) is fully automated and provides all the functionality required by the department. The system provides GUI based environment that is easy to use for the immigration staff and the related agencies. . The system provides self-descriptive interfaces that are easy to use for any staff member with little bit knowledge of computer.
