Abstract

The Internet, specifically the World Wide Web (WWW), has become an integral part of information dissemination. Web Quiz is a web based examination system, which will conduct on line examination for different subjects. the project is unde1taken to decrease the load of checking the papers manually on every hiring occasion. The system has mainly two interfaces. Candidate interface, Admin interface. The candidate interface will start from registration of the candidate to the end of the examination. Each candidate is W.;:ely to get clifferent set of questions on line. Each question will have four suggested answers. The candidates will have to answer a particular question in tl1e time specified in terms and conditions. There are no marks deducted for the wrong answer. The candidate will get randomly computer-selected question on line tl1e candidate cannot change the answers once the option is selected and tl1e next question is viewed. The admin interface will provide the complete authority for the examination to the administrator. lt includes: Insertion of a new subject, insertion for the new set of questions, result of the examination.
