Abstract:
The intent of this study aimed to see if there was a relationship between Religion, Prosocial Behavior, and Psychological Well-being among Muslim undergraduate students. A total of 310 (Male= 176, Female= 134) students from government, semi-government, and private universities were included in the study whose ages ranged from 18-27 years (M=20.87 & SD= 1.648). A convenient sampling technique was used to obtain data from Islamabad. This data was acquired using three scales: The Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS), Prosocialness Scale for Adults (PSA), and Oxford Happiness Questioner (OHQ). The findings of this study indicated that Religion and Prosocial Behavior both are positively correlated with psychological well-being. There was a positive impact of Religion on Prosocial Behavior and Psychological wellbeing. moreover, the findings revealed the mediating role of prosocial behavior along with differences among gender in Religion.
